3rd stop...........Bankara Ramen @ Avenue K

Well this is a relatively old and new experience mixed together. I remembered my 1st taste of the Japanese ramen was a few years back when I went for a holiday to Japan. I think the town was Kyoto. We went on a tour. I still remembered that night the dinner provided was Japanese shabu shabu. The tour guide told us that after dinner we can walk around the food street as there are a few famouse japanese food i.e. ramen, takoyaki and puff fish that are a must try. Me and hubby ate half full for dinner and quickly went to to street to try the "must try ramen". I still have the picture of my first ramen and its was so delicious that I still can remembered the taste till today. We were at KLCC one weekend when my husband said "hey my colleague told me that restaurants in Avenue K serve pork and there is a nice Japanese ramen shop". So we walked about in Avenue K and it has certainly changed a lot, there are more shops and restaurants now compared to a few years back. H&M was very prominent too....... We took 2 flights of the escalator and found the shop on our left. We checked out the menu and find that the price is a bit steep for noodles but flying to Japan to eat is even more expensive... right? ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS. The first time we went this restaurant was in Nov 2014 and my last visit was 2 weeks back. The 2nd time I ate this delicious ramen, I feel like I am so happy to be alive in this world to be able to savour such delicious food and I can live my life without regrets. That kind of feeling. Ok as promised less wordy and more pixs, here are our orders :) enjoy. If you do read my blog and feel the same like I do, do drop me a message.

2nd stop.......... Nana Green Tea

This another one of my favourite restaurant. So far I have visited 2 outlets one in Mid Valley (the one that I most frequent) and One Utama (once only). I used to pass by the restaurant everytime i go to MV and I wonder why are there so many people queuing outside the restaurant (usually it must be for something good eh....). So, one weekend I told my family why not we have a try since that morning we are pretty early and no one was queuing and plenty of tables were available. There is no regrets ever since. There serve set menu for lunch which is value for money coz it comes with drinks. I must say their parfait is so out of this world. I love the famous Nana Green Tea parfait because I really really like their Nama green tea chocolate. There do have seasonal dessert and all of them are nice :) As promised, here are the pictures of our orders.

1st stop..........The Pork Place in Puchong Jaya (Home of high quality pork)

Oh..... I have to say that I fell in love with this place the 1st time I went there. Not only because of the delicious food, its also a butcher shop (this is where I get my pork supplies now) and the staff are friendly. I have tried almost everything in their menu and there are so delicious and I feel like its home made less the hardwork. Practically everyone that I know that know me who loves pork I will recommend them to try out this place. There are so many must try dishes from Appetisers, Salads to Main. My favourite will have to be the Cabonara and Braised Pork Ribs pasta. Oh... I must not forget the pumpkin soup. Ok as promised, less words and more pictures........ here you are.......

What Happened in 2014

I hope I didn't gain weight :) I still loves food :) Desserts are still my fav :) As promised, I did tried to take as much pictures as I could before I start eating coz at times I am so hungry that I don't remember that I need to take pictures first. Lately, I am so into Japanese ramen and I can't wait to blog about it. Stay tuned :)

Pictures Paint a Thousand Words

Hi, I just realised that when I created this blog back in October, I have not updated any post. My blog is gonna be simple with lots of pictures. Feedbacks are welcome and you can give me suggestions to improve them. Ok, the 1st 2 pictures were taken from Tai Lai Loi Kei Restaurant - we loved the garlic taste of the pork and so far we had tried the one at IOI Boulevard, Sri Petaling and Sunway Pyramid. I love their Sawdust dessert :)its a must have for me everytime I go there. Bongak Restaurant @ Sri Petaling We like this Korean restaurant though the side dishes cannot be compared to the our fav Bee Won in Ampang. The chillies cake dish is a must coz we feel that its one of the nicest. We are starting to like their grilled pork as well its just that you don't get the fun of the meat being grilled right in front of you. There was one day when I was waiting for my hubby at the Lower Ground Floor of Suria KLCC when I noticed such a long queue for popcorn??? What so special about the popcorn why are they so many tourist (Thais) buying them. I went closer and got a shock coz the popcorn are expensive??????? My sis in law then urged me to buy to try and since then I have been buying 3 times its nice - we have tried the cheese, butter, caramel and with nuts. I just love the simple caramel ones. Its sweet I do admit but I have sweet tooth so its alright by me :)

How it started :)

Beading is my hobby and passion; food is my craving and desire. Someone told me that I should not blog about food in my beading blog...... so here I am creating another blog. Is the name catchy? I have so many reviews on the restaurant that I have been too but do not have the time to blog about it........... I need to find time to do so ........ Let start with this forthcoming Public Holidays.
